School Visit Information

Now scheduling for Fall 2024





General Information:

I am available to do a limited number of school visits per year for students in Pre-School through 3rd grade. A typical presentation is 30-50 minutes, depending on the grade, and is fast-paced, interactive, and visually engaging. It usually includes:

    1. • reading one of my picture books (with illustrations projected in high resolution for large groups)

    2. • a powerpoint presentation depicting how I made that particular book (character development, early sketches, pictures in progress, studio tour, and more)

    3. • a drawing demonstration

    4. • a Q & A session

  2. I am also happy to sign and personalize books after my presentation, but the school will need to supply the books.

A one day school visit includes up to five sessions.


Fees:

Franklin County MA, single classroom visit: $150.00

Franklin County MA, all school assembly: $200.00

Massachusetts school, day visit: $1000.00*

Out-of-state school, day visit: $1500.00*

*In addition, there is a travel fee of 67¢ per mile (round trip from Greenfield, MA) plus lodging and meals if necessary.
