Bill has been designing and building fine custom furniture since the mid 1970’s, and has had his own full-time shop since the mid 1980’s. Bill was trained as a furniture designer in Denmark at “Skolen for Brugskunst”, now known as “Danmarks Designskole”. He appreciates the beauty and character of natural wood and uses finishes which highlight that beauty rather than covering it up.

Bill’s own furniture style is influenced by both Scandinavian and Shaker furniture styles. He always has the Scandinavian mantra in mind which hales to form follows function. But Bill also designs custom fine furniture to fit your home and personal taste.

Other interests include puzzles. Bill has always been intrigued by solving puzzles, and designing his own has become a pleasant leisure activity.
